OBS Techniek is inmiddels 20 jaar actief in de automatisering binnen de tuinbouw. Tuinbouwbedrijven worden groter en steeds meer volledig geautomatiseerd. Je moet hierbij denken aan systemen om kweektafels te rouleren en positioneren doormiddel van haalbanen, duwbanen, hangende stapelaars en shuttle systemen voor in de kas. De werkruimte van een kwekerij waar de planten worden gefotografeerd, verenkeld, wijder gezet worden of af worden geraapt om te verpakken en te verzenden naar de klant. Hier moeten we denken aan Transporttechniek, aangedreven rollenbanen, op en afzet robots, wassers, verenkelaars, buffer tafels, sorteermachines, inhoezers, stokstekers en werkposities. Steeds meer zien we de industriële Robots uit de automotive industrie zijn intrede doen in de tuinbouwautomatisering.
